If you intend to use this knife for lite camping chores, it may be a good knife for you. However, I purchased this knife and on the first camping trip the rivet that holds the sheath together came apart (the sheath is mostly canvas). Also, the threads, that hold the survival contents within the hollow handle became stripped.
As far as the defect in the sheath: I pulled the knife in and out of the sheath about 30 times over 3 days. I feel that was not nearly enough times to use my knife before the canvas around the rivet became worn through.
As far as the stripped threads go: granted I used the knife to cut 5 large saplings down to make a lean-to. On the 5th sapling, the head of handle kept coming off and I may have too hastily screwed it back into place (thus causing the threads to become stripped).
Threads not withstanding, having to find and buy a new sheath will be hard enough, but the end of the handle where the threads are stripped is used to hold the hand protector and the knife itself, together. Thus, the knife is basically worthless after only one camping trip.

This is a great outdoor tool, but the main problem with this particular blade is the the compas on the butt of the knife was broken upon delivery. A replacement piece was sent very promptly, but it too was broken. Any bump or drop to the butt of the blade and your compas is broken.

All the review work has been done, all you need to do is read “Skull Fungus” review for a detailed analysis. Great knife and all the pockets make it great for a “bug out bag”.
